What You'll Do - Care for and maintain horses, ensuring they are healthy, well-fed, and properly saddled for trail rides.
- Lead guests on trail rides, providing a memorable, safe, and enjoyable experience while sharing your knowledge of the ranch and local terrain.
- Provide instruction to guests on riding techniques, ensuring they are comfortable and confident during their ride.
- Perform general ranch chores such as feeding horses, mucking out stalls, and maintaining tack.
- Assist with the transportation of supplies to multiple ranch venues and operate ranch vehicles or Rangers when needed.
- Work as part of a team to ensure a smooth operation of the ranch’s activities and ensure guests receive high-quality service.
- Follow all safety protocols and demonstrate horse safety measures at all times, both on the ground and while riding.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of ranch areas, tack rooms, and horse facilities.
- Be flexible and willing to take direction from senior staff to ensure the success of ranch operations.
What You'll Bring - A valid driver’s license and ability to operate ranch vehicles or Rangers safely.
- Previous experience in the Western riding discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of Western tack, horse safety measures, and all aspects of riding and horse care.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard.
- Ability to give clear and effective instruction to guests of all skill levels.
- A strong understanding of horse care, including feeding, grooming, and maintenance of tack and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing tasks.
- A short video showcasing your riding abilities (required for candidates).
