The primary reason for this role is to identify the best possible talent on college campuses throughout the country. The person in this role will represent the brand of White Lodging at the major universities that are identified as industry partners. This will be accomplished through attending college events, speaking in classrooms and contributing to the curriculum and syllabus for various subjects. The role is built to own the organization and the execution of all campus interviews, assessments and potential offers. This will happen from the initial contact with a student or university all the way to planning and execution of the White Lodging University Summit. This role is also designed to support and answer any local school recruiting efforts in the markets where we have White Lodging properties.
* Build the White Lodging brand and continuous relationships on strategic university campuses * Build the White Lodging brand and continuous relationships within industry organizations such as ICHRIE, NSMH etc. * Travel to universities and colleges during peak campus recruiting season (Sept-Nov and Jan-Apr) * Conduct class presentations and information sessions on campus about White Lodging * Guest lecture in the classroom about topics identified by professors or university * Know the details of when and where to go to find the best talent. Build the trust of the students from freshman year until senior year. * Manage the logistics of college recruiting 2nd interview events * Manage the logistics of display cases, giveaways, collateral and team materials * Coordinate internship program materials and assignments * Ability to screen, interview and identify potential A players * Ability to effectively interact with students, faculty and other university leaders of all levels * Communicate with White Lodging managers, GM’s, RVP’s and senior leadership effectively * Assist with any openings or other hiring events that require recruiting hourly and management positions
