The Systems Manager is responsible for day-to-day management of corporate systems that may also be used remotely at numerous hotel locations. The Systems Manager will lead strategic technology assessments and integration projects for White Lodging and various stakeholders. You will have interaction with other departments to assure that technology supported functions are efficient, optimized, and designed to deliver on the requirements of all customers. You will report directly to the Director of IT. Your work will include maintaining the systems that ensure peak performance of the organization and the leadership of White Lodging.
* Establishes relationships with business stakeholders within White Lodging to meet the operational needs of the organization. * Contributes heavily to functional management and develops in-depth subject matter expertise. * Stays abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to White Lodging and the hospitality industry. * Displays strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership ability across all levels coupled with effective problem solving, conceptual thinking, quantitative and analytical skills. * Sustains information systems results by defining, delivering, and supporting information systems; auditing application of systems. * Enhances information systems results by identifying information systems technology opportunities and developing application strategies. * Safeguards assets by planning and implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures. * Continuously stay abreast of current policies and procedures regarding system management.

* Bachelor’s degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience. * 5 or more years of experience in the Technology field is required. * Two or more years of supervisory experience is required.WORKING CONDITIONSWork will be conducted in the White Lodging corporate office in Merrillville, IN. Work will be primarily be done at a desk with computer and monitor. There will be interaction with other staff members. There will be little opportunity for travel.
