Summary:

The Senior Director - Total Rewards is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive total rewards programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. This position oversees all aspects of compensation, benefits, and recognition programs, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives, culture, and values.The Sr. Director, Total Rewards will work closely with senior leadership, human resources partners, and external vendors to develop and execute strategies that drive associate engagement/retention and support the company’s growth and success. In addition, they manage the internal Benefits and 401K Investment Committees, while partnering with the Chief Human Resources Officer on matters of the Board level Compensation Committee. Sr. Director, Total Rewards will report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer.


Responsibilities


RESPONSIBILITIES
* Leadership and Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop a team of total rewards professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture Provide guidance and support to human resources business partners and senior leaders on total rewards matters Drive cross-functional collaboration and communication to ensure the successful implementation of total rewards programs
* Total Rewards Strategy Develop and lead the company’s total rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, incentives, time off/flexibility, recognition, and wellbeing programs Ensure alignment of total rewards strategies with business objectives, competitive market practices, and regulatory requirements Provide strategic direction on the design and implementation of innovative reward solutions that drive associate engagement and support talent management goals Uses external and internal data, including soliciting feedback from associates on needs to inform strategy
* Compensation Management Effectively links White Lodging’s compensation strategy to business outcomes Initiates and manages compensation projects designed to motivate and reward for performance Oversee the development and management of competitive and equitable compensation structures, including salary, bonus, and equity programs Lead market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive positioning in the marketplace Develop and manage executive compensation plans, including long-term incentive plans, ensuring alignment with business strategy and governance standards
* Benefits and Wellbeing Programs Design, implement, and manage comprehensive associate benefits programs, including health, wellness, time off/flexibility, retirement, and other ancillary benefits Ensure benefits programs are competitive, cost-effective, and compliant with legal requirements across all operating regions Lead initiatives to promote associate wellbeing, including physical, financial, and mental health programs Effectively communicates the value of our Total Rewards programs to inspire engagement and retention
* Recognition and Engagement Develop and implement recognition programs that align with the company’s culture and values, driving associate engagement and performance Foster a culture of appreciation and recognition through innovative and impactful programs Monitor and assess the effectiveness of recognition programs, adjusting as needed to enhance associate satisfaction and motivation
* Compliance and Risk Management Ensure all total rewards programs comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations Monitor and manage risks associated with total rewards programs, including financial, operational, and compliance risks Prepare and present reports to senior leadership and the board of directors on total rewards strategies and outcomes
* Human Resources Capability Takes time to educate, coach and support Human Resources and Business Leaders on total rewards matters

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required
* Relevant professional certification (e.g., CCP, CEBS, SPHR) is required within one year of hire date
