Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, the IT Director will provide IT direction and support specific to White Lodging hotels within the Market. The Market Director will manage all systems, IT staff and technology within their assigned hotels. The IT Director will coach users to effectively use the systems, applications and prepare administrative documentation. The IT Director will provide assistance to internal and customer facing requests for technology within their assigned hotels. They will conduct preventative maintenance and back-up required to keep all systems in compliance with current guidelines.

Responsibilities |
|
Major duties of the IT Director will include:
* Plan and carry out technology projects and updates for their assigned hotels.
* Manage Technology staff
* Work on proactive maintenance and repair of critical systems (PMS, POS, PBX, FTG) in coordination with respective vendors.
* Maintain knowledge of Industry Systems and Trends to provide updates to Executive Committee
* Manage access and de-activation of user accounts in coordination with HR at the assigned hotels.
* Plan and do a quarterly test on server Backups and ISP Connectivity; ensure all information is secured and maintained appropriately.
* Inventory and maintain Equipment and Systems
* Communicate projects related to technology simply, effectively, both oral and written, with internal and external guests.
* Conduct miscellaneous hotel technology projects including low voltage cabling and basic mounting.
* Track computer warranties and functionality of existing computers so that they make it into UCERF when necessary replacements are required.
* Manage requests for assistance in connecting peripheral equipment.
* Support requests for service repair of copy machine and other computer / technology related systems.
* Install required software patches, ensuring the connectivity of PC’s, Laptops, guest internet issues, handheld and other computing devices to both the local area network (LAN) and wide area networks.
* Provide detailed attention to all on-going requests/incidents with proper follow up and follow through practices.
* Provide compliance support to the hotels by performing timely checks and audits
* Perform all reasonable tasks assigned by management.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

* 10+ years in IT related role

* Work history demonstrating stability
* Previous Supervisory Experience required
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position requires extended travel throughout the hotel and at times can require extended sitting while working on assigned projects. It would be common that 40 - 50 % of the role is traveling throughout the hotel to assist in identified issues. The remainder of the time could be sitting behind a desk. This position also requires some heavy lifting.
