Job Description


Summary:

Member of the Payroll/Accounting team that is responsible for all aspects of gross to net payroll production in a multi-state, high volume, fast paced environment. This position will encompass trouble shooting, analysis and customer service for multiple locations as it relates to payroll, and high volume data entry and validation. Position requires complete reconciliation of payroll computations including Federal, State and Local tax deductions and distribution of pay statements and education to associates for electronic pay statements. This position is part of a highly collaborative team environment with a focus on customer service and business efficiency.


Responsibilities


Oversee overall payroll functions.Responsible for confidential and accurate associate payroll.Assess organizational needs and develop processes to control labor through overtime and accurate timekeeping.Ensures all leave records, vacation tracker and payroll system is being utilized to the fullest.Ensures timely and appropriate response to all internal and external needs.Other duties as assigned

* Must possess strong team building and people skills
* Must possess the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively under payroll deadlines
* Three plus years of experience with PR systems, preferably Infor/Lawson and Kronos or similar systems
* Strong technology skills with a focus on process improvement thru technology

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

* At least three years of payroll transaction/payroll tax management experience
* Multi-state payroll taxation and regulation experience
* Degree in Business, Human Resources, Accounting or Finance (or equivalent) is preferred
* CPP or FPC a plus
