Job Description


Summary:

Assist in executing store operations during schedule shifts and ensures guests are provided with a friendly, enthusiastic and timely service and quality products.


Responsibilities



* Accurately and efficiently processes orders while following recipes and or product directions
* Assist with ordering to ensure proper product inventories
* Ensures product availability and consistency. Ensure that all menu items are prepared to recipe and established specifications.
* Assist management in maintaining quality levels thought monthly quality assurance surveys
* Assist management with training of new associates
* Assist with successful roll-outs of new products. Maintain knowledge of menus content and prices.
* Ensures food sanitation practices are followed.
* Ensures a work areas are maintain clean and organized in accordance with standards.
* Control waste logs daily or as needed to track food spoilage
* Count rotating bank at the beginning and end of shift. Reports all cash over/shorts to management. Comply with hotel and department accounting procedures.
* Participate in daily, weekly, monthly meetings as required.
* Complete all hourly functions in the department and operate all department equipment as needed.
* Promote teamwork and associate morale
* Follows cash management and cash register policies and ensures proper cash management practices are followed by shift team
* Assist Manager/lead supervisor with daily and weekly payroll reporting as needed.
* Practice safety standards at all times and keeps the property safe for guests and fellow associates.
* Ensure security and confidentiality of all guests, hotel information and materials
* Follow METS guidelines to report equipment malfunction and maintenance issues.
* Report unsafe conditions and suspicious activity to Loss Prevention/Management.
* Know and live the mission and the White Lodging/brand basics.
* Ensure County/City/State Health Department and Starbucks' health code standards are consistently met.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

* High Scholl Diploma/GED
* Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers
* At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees

WORKING CONDITIONS

* Regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear
* Frequently required to use hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms.
* Regularly required to lift and/or move items up to 30 pounds
* Must be able to adjust vision to both day and night lighting, and able to focus on distant and close-range objects
* Regularly required to handle food and hot beverages
