Job Description



Summary:

The Director of ERP Application Solutions is a key member of the Information Technology (IT) team and is responsible for leading the ongoing management, administration, and support of our mission-critical ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions - financials, payroll, benefits, applicant tracking, and human resources. He or She will be directly responsible for ensuring that the ERP solution interfaces appropriately with the other internal applications as well as third-party software. The Director will have hands-on responsibility with his/her team for troubleshooting, new solution implementations, application upgrades, vendor relationships, and updating IT documentation. He/She will collaborate often with other departments to assure that business needs are met. This role will report directly to the Vice President of IT Applications.


Responsibilities


* Administration, management, and support of the following software platforms:oInfor Human Capital ManagementoInfor Financial ManagementoParadox Olivia Applicant Tracking SystemoInfor Learning Management SystemoSQL Server Databases
* Create and maintain the system interfaces between the ERP system and the other supplemental software tools.
* New User system setup and training.
* Participating in the planning, designing, documenting, implementing, testing, and support of business systems/applications.
* Provide product support for ERP systems.
* Analyze business requirements with regards to feasibility, design, planning, testing, transition, and service delivery.
* Displays strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership ability across all levels.
* Demonstrates effective problem solving, conceptual thinking, quantitative and analytical skills.
* Executes technical projects in alignment with ownership and the management goals of White Lodging.
* Researches and recommends new products and solutions that will support the goals of the company.
* Executes planned off-hour upgrades, deployments, and maintenance windows.
* Leads ERP access audits as requested.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

* BS degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or another technical related field.
* 5-7 years of experience with the following:oSupporting an ERP solution. Infor/Lawson experience preferred, or open to becoming certified as an Infor Certified Consultant within the first 24-30 months of hire.oBusiness architecture or business process design roleoImplementing and using business applications and/or reporting solutionsoDevelopment / Architecture in a SaaS solutionoSupporting Sales, Finance, Accounting, Human ResourcesoModeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques such as Visio, Trello, or PowerPointoSupporting and/or developing reporting solutions using a variety of tools and techniques such as PowerBI, Power Automate, Reporting Services Reports (SSRS), Cognos, or Crystal ReportsoManaging development teams
* Experience overseeing and/or participating in large, complex environments and transformation projects.
* Knowledge of Kronos Time and Attendance a plus.
* Hospitality experience a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work will be conducted at the White Lodging corporate office in Merrillville, IN. Some flexibility in offering a hybrid in-office/remote work environment would be considered after 6 months on location. Work will be done at a desk with a computer and dual-monitor configuration and at times in an environment that may require squatting, kneeling, and minimal lifting. There will be frequent interaction with other team members. There may be some travel for conferences or training.
