The Medicine Bow Creamery is looking to hire a creamery assistant to be part of our farmstead goat cheese operation. Employees will be part of a small team managing all aspects of goat care, daily milking chores, assisting with cheese makes, and leading guest experiences.

Creamery Assistant tasks include:
* Assist with cheese makes and cleanup
* Assist with cheese affinage
* Assist with cheese packaging and deliveries
* Assist with inventory tracking and record keeping
* Maintain a clean work environment
* Lead guest experiences
* Staff creamery retail area on Farm nightsAdditional goat herder tasks will be performed as needed:
* Assist with milking and cleaning chores in the dairy
* Clean barns as needed
* Ensure goats have access to fresh water and feed daily as needed
* Bottle feed kids and manage cleanup as needed

Minimum requirements for both positions:Lift 50 lbsGood communicatorsWillingness to get dirty and handle animals Willingness to learn new skillsMust have customer service skills as this will be a guest facing positionPreferred candidates would also have animal husbandry, cheese making, milking, and/or food safety experience. Veterinary experience a plus.
