Summary:

The Corporate Office/Lighthouse Maintenance Engineer’s (CME) primary responsibility is to ensure that the maintenance and upkeep meet WLS standards, creates a safe and professional work environment while meeting our budgeted maintenance spend.


Responsibilities

Performs daily job functions in a manner which protects all building assets, including the physical property and the corporate associates and keeps the work environment in a like new condition at all times.? Maintains knowledge at all times of OSHA standards and regulations, including all safety standards and evacuation procedures.? Ensures WLW for Engineering/Corporate Office METS Program is in place and is followed ? Follows the established commercial and equipment zone calendars per METS standard? Keeps all Transcendent work request up to date and communicates effectively ? Completes weekly accountability and submits to; Chief Officer Owned Assets, and office Manager on Fridays before noon, ? Maintains all Life Safety records, are promptly filed and are available for review. ? Maintains Asset tracker for equipment and commercial zones ? Adheres to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company, including, but not limited to, those contained in the associate handbook ? Participates in a weekly documented walk through and completes identified deficiencies within an appropriate time? Receives written approval for all work requests requiring outside contactors? Effectively manages vendors and suppliers in the best interest o

? Organizational Skills; ability to juggle multiple demands, keeping all priorities in focus and updating stakeholders regularly.? Strong writing abilities to conduct RFP’s for office projects; finding and communicating with local and national contractors to get work completed within budget and schedule? Scheduling meetings and respond to vendor/contractor requests for additional information.

SKILLS
? Strong written and verbal communication skills ability to prioritize multiple requests, strong organizational skills. ? Mechanical aptitude, ability to work on and service commercial kitchen and food service equipment, HVAC equipment and control systems.? Finishing Skills, ability to repair walls and paint to match existing surfaces to include wood touch up.? Electrical knowledge-ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits ? Basic PC skills and ability to work in MS environment for Word, Excel and Outlook

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED, previous experience in maintenance field and office environment 2 years minimum
