The Corporate Manager of IT Infrastructure is a hands-on technical leader responsible for owning, building, operating, and continuously improving enterprise IT infrastructure supporting a distributed hospitality portfolio. This role combines deep technical execution with people leadership. The Manager actively works alongside the team on infrastructure operations, projects, and problem resolution while also managing priorities, vendors, and stakeholders. This position has direct reports and is accountable for daily operational excellence as well as the successful delivery of infrastructure initiatives that improve reliability, scalability, and performance. |
| Responsibilities |
· Hands-On Leadership & Team Execution: o Lead from the front by actively participating in infrastructure operations, troubleshooting, and project delivery alongside the team. o Directly manage, coach, and develop IT infrastructure staff through regular engagement, technical mentorship, and performance management. o Own team workflows including: task prioritization, on-call rotations, escalations, and workload balancing. o Act as the primary escalation point for complex Tier-3 infrastructure issues and drive issues through resolution. · Infrastructure Operations & Reliability: o Own the day-to-day operation of enterprise infrastructure including networks, servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and cloud-connected services. o Execute and support system builds, upgrades, patching, migrations, and technology refresh efforts. o Monitor system health, performance, and capacity, taking proactive action to prevent outages and degradation. o Own disaster recovery and business continuity plans, including hands-on testing, documentation, and continuous improvement. · Architecture, Standards & Delivery: o Design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements while remaining scalable and supportable. o Create, maintain, and improve infrastructure standards, configurations, and technical documentation. o Lead infrastructure-related projects end-to-end, from planning and execution through stabilization and handoff. o Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and platforms that improve operational efficiency and system reliability. · Financial & Vendor Execution: o Actively manage vendor relationships, service delivery, and technical outcomes. o Participate in budgeting and capital planning by developing accurate estimates, validating solutions, and executing approved initiatives. o Ensure vendor-delivered solutions are properly implemented, documented, and operationally supported by the team. · Collaboration & Communication: o Work directly with business partners and IT peers to understand operational needs and deliver practical infrastructure solutions. o Communicate clearly during incidents, changes, and projects, providing timely updates and resolution plans. o Produce clear, usable documentation and executive-ready summaries tied to system performance, reliability, and delivery. |
