Summary:

Job Title: Corporate Director of Beverage and TrainingLocation: WL Market Immediate Supervisor: VP of Food and BeverageDirect Reports: NoneTravel: 70% Travel, unless during opening the 100%.


Responsibilities

Job Duties:
* Execute all Cocktail R&D and concept development in partnership w/ VP of F&B.
* Manage Beverage Inventory Management Systems; BevSpot, etc.
* Update, Oversee, Manage the Corp. Beverage Program as well as continue to build relationships w/ national vendors.
* Oversee and manage recipe database: Birch street and Intranet Database Management
* Oversee and manage "Menu Engineering SOP for Beverage" and seasonal core concept/menu updates
* Conduct new menu tastings, inclusive of new menus, menu items, new initiatives, and seasonal menus.
* Work with cocktail counsel and VP of F&B on the development of menu specifications.
* Supervise and execute all beverage production in the test kitchen areas.
* Assist with hotel openings with training, bar set up, and execution.
* BCR Culinary Seasonal Support on Bar Menu Development, Updates, Training, and Opening.
* Other items as designated by the VP of F&B.


Other Information

Job Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 year associates degree or 4 year college degree.
* Minimum 5 year experience with high quality F&B.
* Beverage Certification’s preferred, but not required, in all 3 disciplines; Cicerone, Certified Sommelier or higher, etc.
* Experience with creating and developing new drink menu items beginning to end required
* Specific skills or knowledge necessary for this position:oKnowledge of HAACP and proper sanitation procedures oStrong communication skills - verbal, written, and typed.oComputer skills - Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook oAdvanced mathematical skills oAbility to work on multiple projects oKnowledge of workplace safety proceduresoLicenses, certification or registrations required for the position: ?ACF Certified - Preferred & Serve-Safe Certified
