As the Commercial Revenue Optimization Manager, you will report to the Senior Corporate Director of Revenue Strategy. This position will work closely with the property Commercial teams, with a focus on data analysis and trend spotting to create action that produces efficiencies and profitability. Another key aspect of this role will be the project management of Brand systems changes throughout the company.




Responsibilities


What You’ll Do

  • Leverage data, quantitative analysis, and sophisticated analytics to develop optimal pricing strategies, maximize revenue, and drive business change.
  • Use knowledge of technical and managerial applications of yield management systems and the interactions with each hotel brand and White Lodging specific tools to support revenue optimization.
  • Lead and support project management efforts, including migrations and upgrades of brand systems.
  • Collaborate with revenue analysts, managers, and directors to ensure alignment of strategies and initiatives.
  • Design, develop, analyze and implement reports in a timely manner (Examples include: pace reports, transient pick-up reports, Optimization Dashboards, F&B Labor Benchmarking, F&B Scorecard analysis, and ad-hoc requests).
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders, consolidating data on revenue achievement and cost control.
  • Analyze and report on catering pricing strategies, menu engineering, and marketing trends.
  • Assist senior leadership with presentations, reporting, and ad-hoc analytics projects.
  • Analyze marketing trends and support digital marketing data streams.
  • Various other items as needed.

What You’ll Bring

  • Background or degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
  • Passion about using data, quantitative analysis, and sophisticated analytics to develop optimal pricing, profitable revenue and the drive change.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis procedures, forecasting, and supply/demand modeling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with complex data sets.
  • Previous professional experience with project and change management.
  • 2–7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Preferred: Experience with data querying software (Cognos, Tableau, TM1), statistical packages (R, SAS, SPSS, Stata), or data mining techniques.
