Summary: |
The Catering Sales Manager will build rapport with clients, qualify their needs, sell the appropriate hotel to serve their needs, book the business in the Sales and Catering systems, and confirm the sale with contracts. They will prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance. |
Responsibilities |
This person will ensure that operations and event management has all the information needed to adequately service the group. Participate in daily business review meeting, pre-convention meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required. Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers. Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings. Develop/maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers. |
