With little to no experience, you can work with one of the city’s biggest hospitality companies. A role in Banquet Set-Up at the JW Marriott Indianapolis, Indianapolis Marriott or other downtown Marriott hotels puts you at the heart of some of the largest indoor events in the city - from tens to thousands of guests. You’ll never have the same day twice with the set-up, support and tear down weddings, company lunches, celebrations, meetings and more. Make up to $21.00 / hour with tips *[Must be able to work weekends and holidays, as necessary.]


What You'll Do and What You'll Bring



What You'll Do

* Banquet Set-Up includes seamless set-up, service, and tear down of all banquet events.
* Ensure cleanliness, organization and safekeeping of all banquet equipment and storage rooms.
* Transport tables, staging, chairs and other banquet items between storage areas and meeting rooms.
* Place all materials based on event set-up guidelines and at the direction of event staff.
* Exhibit professionalism and friendliness always.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

* Comfort in working in a fast-paced environment - both in teams and independently.
* Strong attention to detail with a passion for guest service and creativity.
* Prior related experience, but the ability to work as a team and positive attitude is even better.
