What You’ll Do

The Assistant Director of Sales supports the Director of Sales in leading the sales team, managing operations, and driving revenue for our three Marriott branded Hotels Downtown Milwaukee. White Lodging seeks a creative, motivated, and hands-on professional with the ability to inspire others and execute strategic sales initiatives. Key responsibilities include: 


* Prospecting and managing group, transient, and special corporate markets while negotiating and contracting business to achieve sales goals. 


* Developing target account lists, action plans, and strategies to secure new business while providing guidance in lead assignment and qualification.


* Training, mentoring, and supervising sales managers with a focus on account review, coaching, and professional development. 


* Overseeing sales efforts, including lead generation, site tours, cold calls, and execution of weekly sales call goals, to exceed revenue targets. 


* Preparing and submitting business plans, action plans, and forecasts while managing budgets and yield strategies to align with top-line goals. 


* Collaborating with team members to create a strong, cohesive sales culture focused on exceeding client and company expectations. 

What You’ll Bring


* Multi-property experience strongly preferred, with catering experience as a plus. 


* Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills. 


* Expertise in travel industry trends, market analysis, and revenue strategies. 


* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Delphi FDC, and familiarity with budgeting and forecasting tools. 


* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor and a strong commitment to customer service. 


* A 4-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or equivalent hotel experience. 


* 5+ years of hotel sales experience, with proven success in similar-sized operations.
