What You’ll Do - Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash control functions for multiple hotels.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, USALI, and all applicable White Lodging policies and standards.
- Provide financial insight and counsel to hotel department heads, supporting data-driven decisions.
- Assist in developing and reviewing annual budgets and forecasts while identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency.
- Generate accurate, timely financial reports and share key insights with hotel leadership.
- Maintain a strong control environment to safeguard assets and mitigate business risks.
- Lead and mentor accounting team members, supporting their professional development.
- Monitor audit findings, implement corrective actions, and ensure system data accuracy.
- Stay current on tax compliance, licensing, permits, and vendor agreements.
What You’ll Bring - A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- A minimum of two years of hotel accounting experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems, internal controls, and hospitality operations.
- Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence operational teams.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Comfort with hotel systems (PMS, POS) and intermediate Excel and reporting software skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities.
